An Indian aspiring film director channeling my newly learned camera handling, video editing skills and the challenges of socializing and communication with other people towards my career aims.
Hi, this is Vivek Nakra. I was born and raised in India. I recently moved to Canada as an international student. I opted for broadcast and online journalism because, being an introvert, I wanted to explore my other side, as it is an opening-up and challenging educational course for polishing my communication and leadership skills and directing them towards my personal growth and desired career motives. I have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with strong problem-solving abilities, which help me overcome all critical situations in my life. I am a quick learner and quickly adaptable to change. I am very hardworking and reliable. I have a good knowledge of English, Hindi, and Punjabi, which will again help me to become a good leader at giving directions for the profession of a video director.
I am also a keen sportsperson, as I love to play soccer. I was the head coach of my school soccer team and have won many tournaments locally. I have also volunteered at blood donation camps and cleanliness campaigns held by Nirankari Mission, which has helped to enhance both my directorship and guidance capabilities.
I am a very empathetic leader, and I have discipline and honesty towards my goals. I am looking forward to acquiring advanced knowledge and becoming successful video editor in the film or television industry.
